We are delighted to invite you to join us for this next jam-packed module which is part of  the School Health Practitioners Training.

Dear friends and colleagues,

We are delighted to invite you to join us for another jam-packed module in June on ADHD, Difficult Behaviour and Childhood Depression. Understanding Special Educational Needs and Learning Disability from an Anthroposophical Perspective.

Children with challenging behaviour present great challenges for parents and

teachers. What are the reasons for their often unruly and aggressive behaviour? ‘Managing’ these children with so-called behavioural plans or contracts can work short term, but does not derive from an understanding of the child and can cause further damage to their long term mental health. This module will address underlying causes. Insights into ADHD, childhood mood disorders such as anxiety and depression and learning disabilities bring understanding to the child’s needs and how they can be supported through meaningful therapeutic approaches. We will learn to distinguish the difference between behavioural adaptation difficulties and what is considered as a constitutional problem – including a contemporary approach to the so-called four temperaments.

Please get in touch with the contact person or organisation listed in each event if more info or help is needed, thank you.
